Co-Founder
Benita Okoro is a purpose driven humanitarian and co-founder of You Can Foundation, a nonprofit committed to restoring hope and transforming lives in underserved communities across Northern Nigeria.
A graduate of Ambrose Alli University with a degree in History and International Studies, her passion for service grew through years of hands-on volunteering and internships with organizations focused on women, youth, and child development.
Since co-founding You Can Foundation in 2020, Benita has played a key role in the planning and implementation of impactful initiatives in girl-child protection, tech skill acquisition, scholarships, youth enlightenment, and women empowerment and support.
Guided by compassion and a belief in the power of direct action, she continues to help create spaces where vulnerable individuals are supported and inspired to reach their full potential.
